Depiction: Flowers radiate, 1 to several. Petals 5, grading from yellow to red with spurred bases; spurs with bulbous, glandular tips. Sepals 5, petaloid, pale to deep red. Stamens numerous, yellow, with long filaments; pistil 5, green. Both pistil and stamens extending beyond floral parts; pistil longer than stamens. Flower diameter 5cm.
